Item Description
Ten pieces. All made in Japan. Parachute toys come in 1.25x9.5" thin cardboard illustrated tubes with graphics of boy and girl watching parachutes come down from plane. Lot of two, each 1950s, contain thin plastic parachutes with gold/silver foil tails. Trace of lt. wear but Fine overall. Lot of eight tin planes are 1930s. Seven are 3" long and one is 4" long. Each is designed as noise maker to be flown by twirling with attached string. Most have celluloid propellers and/or balsa wood extended tails. All have tin litho wings attached to plated tin fuselages. All have country names and/or flag colors on wings. A few tails and propellers are broken or missing. VG/Fine overall. Nice group for display.
