Item Description
8.5x11" with stiff paper front cover and 23 mimeograph sheets printed on front side only and stapled together at spine. Front cover has nice art by Edith V. showing Olive Oyl dressed as Indian maiden w/leaves and acorns falling around her. Issue is Vol. II No. XI "Inbetweeners Issue." "All Indian Summer" extensively illustrated throughout with specialty art including several full pages. Animators include Phil Epinsky, Lavene, Jim McCabe, E. Daton, Connie Renza, Abbey, Ben Levin, Martin Taras, Kessler, John Gent. Characters shown include Popeye chasing Bluto throughout movie theater screen and Olive Oyl complaining to crying Popeye about how her clothes are drawn. Upper left corner of front cover has tiny tear, otherwise issue is Exc. Extremely limited distribution just for studio employees. See previous two lots #2177-78. Wonderful art images throughout.
