Item Description
Box is 3.25x11x.5" deep with name on lid of the maker "The M.C. Lilley & Co./Badge Manufacturers./Military & Society Supplies/Columbus, Ohio." See their self advertising item #559. The side panels of the lid and the bottom of the box have about a half dozen small splits and one tiny metal corner support came off the lid but remains in the box. The badge itself is 8.75" tall with celluloid insert on brass hanger at top reading "Taylor Lodge No. 175." Brass links suspend brass luster "Member" bar and this suspends brass luster design representing the front of a steam locomotive with the lodge number at center "175." Additional gold text below designating location of "Newark, Ohio." Reverse of the piece in silver on black for use at funerals. Box is Fine and the badge is Exc., displaying N. Mint. Morry Greener Collection.
