Item Description
Originally an rwb ribbon joined the celluloid to a slot on the embossed brass bar pin inscribed with the word "Souvenir." A ribbon fragment remains on the back of the bar pin and tiny traces of fabric remain on the top edge of the button held in place by the reverse collet. While most of the ribbon is gone the celluloid itself remains in essentially Mint condition complete with backpaper by Western Badge. Text reads "Welcome Colonel Charles Lindbergh/Minnesota's Own/Solitary Flight/From/New York To Paris/May 30-31./1927." Our one complete example of this long ago reached nearly $300.00. Rare.
