Item Description
This unusual heavy brass badge has a 2" hanger bar at top designed as a log with a scroll hanging over it reading "Indianapolis (star image) Salesman." Loop suspends 1.5" brass medallion with strange bird-like creature wearing overalls and high button shoes surrounded by text "The Indianapolis Star's/Indiana Weather Prophet For 1909." Reverse of the piece is blank except for mark of maker W&H. Minor luster loss. Exc. and first we've seen.
