Item Description
Complete set J-8 issued by RCA Victor in January of 1938. This is the first ever released American, full-feature, soundtrack album. Set of three 78 rpm records each come in individual "Victor Records" sleeve and the set is housed in a stiff paper envelope-style outer sleeve. This has a tipped-on glossy paper picture of the dwarfs crossing a tree bridge. Text reads "With The Same Characters And Sound Effects As In The Film." Obvious aging and scattered margin wear including some splits/tears and moisture staining along left edge. VG with Exc. picture. The individual sleeves have scattered wear but are VF. Records are 25735/25736/25737. One has a few tiny edge nicks on the lead-in, in no way affecting grooves. Otherwise all remain clean, glossy and Exc/N.Mint. A rare set, especially with the records in this condition. Among the most sought after Disney records. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
