Item numbers 1554 through 3213 in auction 202
Item Description
Overall size of 3x6x8” tall tin litho toy with built-in key. 1960s by Yonewa, Japan. Great design depicts clothed bear and monkey sawing a log and attached to base by flexible metal spring is second monkey who observes what the other 2 are doing. Base is decorated with tree stumps and mushrooms. Bear is complete with separate vinyl ears. Toy works and as the two saw the log, the second monkey rocks back and forth. Scattered trace of paint wear, mostly along edges of base. Still glossy and VF. Neat action.
