Item Description
Pair, each tin litho and about 7” in length with height of 7”. TPS toy has built-in key. c. 1960 and depicts monkey basketball player wearing jersey marked “Stars 7.” Complete with tin basketball and attached backboard with fabric net. Works and shoots the ball into the basket. Scattered tiny paint nicks. VF. Second toy is by Asahi, Japan. c. late 1950s. Depicts boy basketball player wearing cap with letter “S,” attached backboard with fabric net has manually operated scoreboard for teams “Red/White.” Lever mechanism works but missing ball. Small scattered traces of wear, mostly to scoreboard including some oxidation spots. Still Fine.
