Item Description
Pair by Fulton Specialty Co. ©1939. Both have same lid art of Geppetto putting the finishing touches on Pinocchio. Smaller set is #465 in 7x8x1" deep box. Complete set of seven different Pinocchio character stamps and generic stamp pad. Larger deluxe set is #495 in 11x17x1" deep box. This set is complete and has 13 stamps, stamp pad, crayons (which have melted), 12 bw illustrated sheets with single full color sheet to be used as a guide, instruction sheet. Object was to put character images on the sheets using the stamps and the papers were then to be colored with the crayons. There are four different styles w/images of street scene showing "Plaza Stromboli," Geppetto's cottage, inside scene of his cottage, sunken ship. A few have been used. Both sets show wear from use with some ink stamping/staining. Each overall Fine and the large set is rare, we have only offered one other in our 45 years. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
