Item Description
This German made item consists of a real photo without dot pattern mounted with a tin rim which on the reverse has its narrow edge crimped around a cardboard from which the center extends a stickpin 1-1/8" long. This item is an early Nazi Party issue from around the time of 1924 when Hitler was sentenced to five years in Landsberg prison for leading the Nazis' unsuccessful 'Beer Hall Putsch' in the German state of Bavaria. Item displays Extremely Fine although under magnification there is a 1/8" surface hairline in the paper to the right of his mouth and the tin frame has the tiniest bit of scattered pinpoints of luster loss. A rare and very early real photo stickpin.
