Item Description
1.25" with normal oxidation on reverse along with union bug. There is a photographic version of this button but this is the illustration style portrait. Miller was ship's cook 3rd Class on the U.S.S.W. Virginia at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack. He moved his wounded commander to an area of safety and then took over a machine gun to down several Japanese aircraft. Miller was one of the first heroes of WWII and was cited for his bravery. Cello is essentially Mint. Scarce.
