Auction #202 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1553 in auction 202
Item Description
1.5" gorgeous color button showing around the center area carrots, tomato, celery, radishes, cucumber, corn, and turnip. While is might be supposed that the large black letter "V" stands for "Vegetable" on the basis of this button's St. Louis Button Co. backpaper we are of the opinion that it relates to the patriotic efforts of this group during WWII. Backpaper has small tan dot. Rest of the piece is essentially Mint. Outstanding color for the time. Rare.
