Item Description
3" tall with 1.25" suspended brass medal. The obverse depicts a C-54 airplane, viewed from above, within a wreath. Reverse depicts and eagle with shield and arrows beneath the text "For Human Action" and above the text "To Supply Necessities Of Life To The People Of Berlin Germany." This was awarded to members of the Armed Forces for 120 consecutive days of service in support of the airlift between June 26, 1948 and Sept. 30, 1949. Ribbon has .25" white mark near the top. Reverse medal has lost about 50% luster but all remains easily readable. Fine.
