Item Description
1930s by Gum Inc. Album is 6x10” for cards numbered 1-48. Cards are 2.5x3". The first version featured a primitive-looking Mickey on the front cover. This is the second version with revised cover art featuring a more traditional looking Mickey. This version also has “Property” owner’s name line at lower left which has been filled in. Comes with complete set of 48 cards all which have been neatly mounted at appropriate spots. Card #21 features Walt Disney himself. Other cards primarily feature Mickey and Minnie Mouse although other characters appearing on certain cards include Pluto, Horace and Clarabelle. Six cards have since come loose and have varying degrees of surface paper wear to backs. For the most part, cards have just typical margin aging but remain clean and with sharp corners, as mounted. As such, visually nearly all card fronts display as Exc./N.Mint to N.Mint, with just a few in lower grades. Album itself has lt. aging, Fine/VF. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
