Auction #202 - Part II
Item numbers 1554 through 3213 in auction 202
Item Description
1.25" button featuring early copyright text and in the classic pose seen on the early movie theater club buttons; however this is the first example we've seen with the text "My Teeth Are O.K./Are Yours?" There is no backpaper and no maker's name. Reverse has small dent on the collet and celluloid has a couple of light scratches but no stain and the piece still displays Mint. Given the items extreme rarity we do not believe this button could have been authorized by the American Dental Association as was the Mickey button and certificate dating from the 1938 era. This piece must have been issued on an extremely localized basis.
