Item Description
This is the first time we've seen the mailing box for this scarce premium issued in the next to final year of her radio show. The box is 3.75x4.5x.75" deep. The mailing label from Quaker has text reading "Your Silk Stockings" but we feel it was used to ship this 5/16" thick brass tube as it comes from The Joe Gura Premium Collection and this person was very precise about keeping each premium together with its correct packaging. The tube is 3.5" and extends to 5.25" with an opening to produce a whistle on one end and a die-cut brass head of Little Orphan Annie on the opposite end used to slide the tube in and out to produce whistles of various frequencies. One side of the outer tube has a 3/8" wide full length streak of missing luster where it laid against something but overall about 75% of the luster remains fully glossy. Scarce.
