The watch was an Ovaltine premium from 1988 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the conclusion of the radio program. Watch has 1-1/8" dia. plastic case reading "Captain Midnight Secret Squadron Member." The watch straps are plastic. Dial has thin peel-off protective cover still in place although watch would need a new battery to operate. The instruction sheet and original bubble-wrap envelope are included. With this comes another interesting device to wear on the wrist. This is made of flexible yellow plastic with the words on the strap "Buster Brown Moon Mission Agent." The center has sundial with raised point and inset working compass and the center also functions as a secret compartment with a hinged lid. We opened this to find an unused Band-aid as well as a tiny 7/8" square book with front cover titled "Mini-Moon Book." This has 34 pages of information and games relating to space. The back cover popped loose but is here and includes a picture of the Buster Brown logo showing him and Tige. The interior of the secret compartment contains the alphabet plus Morse Code dots and dashes and the interior of the compartment lid has a chart of letters printed once in alphabetical order with opposing letters scrambled to use as a code. Underside reads "Made In U.S.A./Creative Merchandisers Inc./Chicago. Illinois." Circa 1960's and rare.
