Item Description
The rings are brass with adjustable bands. First reads "Melvin Purvis Junior G-Man Corps." This was given by Post's cereal in 1936. Bright flashing is off but nice clean condition. Second reads "Secret Operator Melvin Purvis Law & Order Patrol." This was also a Post's premium but from the following year of 1937. Most bright luster gone but still nice highlights and totally clean. Third is 1.5" tall brass badge from 1936 reading "Melvin Purvis Junior G-Man Corps." This is N. Mint, displaying Mint. Three classic items for this classic show hosted by the F.B.I. agent who brought John Dillinger and Pretty Boy Floyd to justice before he left government service for book writing and broadcasting.
