Item Description
This syndicated 1937-1938 aviation oriented adventure show focused on the character Speed Gibson who at age 15 was already an ace pilot and member of the "I.S.P." or International Secret Police. He circled the world on the trail of the criminal Octopus Gang. It's not often we can say "First Seen" when it comes to a radio premium but here is a well made 2" tall silvered brass badge reading "Detective Sargent/I.S.P." Reverse has soldered on vertical pin. There is no maker or sponsor name. With this comes the club member's button. In the U.S.A. this was a litho showing the world globe but this is the 1937 Canadian version showing Speed Gibson's Flying Clipper airplane. Curl has name of maker "Shaw Mfg. Toronto." The button is scarce and Mint while the metal badge is rare and N. Mint, displaying Mint.
