One of the rarest, and unusually large, early comic book club member's buttons and this dates from 1941. 1.75" and complete with backpaper by M. Pudlin Co. Backpaper has gray stain on 50% although this is quite light. There's also a trivial 1/16" collet dent. The front of the button has a tan age stain from its outer edge going inward about .25" around the entire circumference. In addition the red color has lost some intensity. The celluloid remains fully glossy. This is just the fifth we've seen in five decades and the low opening bid compensates for bit of aging that it shows.
