Auction #202 - Part II
Item numbers 1554 through 3213 in auction 202
Item Description
The booklet is 2.75x4.5" with 12 pages of slightly glossy paper explaining how to use the "Explorer's Sun Watch." This title appears on the first page of the book and also on each watch. Each watch is brass luster with a large center dial which glows in the dark. At the center is a hinged brass piece which can be raised up to serve as the pointer. There's also an inset working compass. The example on the left with no name is a Jack Armstrong premium from 1948. The example on the right which also carries the name "Frank Buck" is a Wheaties premium from 1949. The underside of each piece has a highly reflective silver luster metal signaling plate. This has just the tiniest tarnish on each example but otherwise each piece is Exc. to Mint. Booklet is VF.
