Item Description
7x7" cardboard triple gatefold cover contains three record 45 rpm set on the "RCA Victor" label. In 1956, RCA marketed two different models of an "Elvis Presley" Victrola record player. Buyers of the $32.95 model were given the double EP SPD-22 while the bonus for buyers of the higher priced $47.95 model were given this even more rare and desirable EP SPD-23. This triple EP features songs from the first Elvis album (LPM-1254). 12 songs in total including such classics as "Blue Suede Shoes/Don't Be Cruel/Hound Dog." All have black label with horizontal silver line and dog on top. Cover features same Elvis image on front that appears on other LP and EP covers of the time, back cover is text bio. Slightest trace of aging but cover, inside and out, remains bright, clean and glossy. N.Mint. All three records are clean, glossy and N.Mint. A true Elvis rarity, especially in this high grade condition. As nice as they come. Very conservative opening based on book price.
