Item Description
9.25x12x4.5" deep player. ©DC Comics 1978. Solid state phonograph Model SP-19 by Dejay Corporation. Plays 33 1/3 and 45 records. Turntable works. White cardboard outer box has graphics on top and end flap with open phonograph and Superman logo. Box has lt. aging/shelf wear but displays Fine. Player is graphics intensive on all sides. Top of lid has images from Joe Shuster, Curt Swan and Neal Adams. Large Superman logo and image of Superman bursting through a brick wall. Sides illustrate "Faster Than A Speeding Bullet, More Powerful Than A Locomotive, Able To Leap Tall Building's In A Single Bound". Bottom of player features "The Superman Story", a b/w panel comic retelling Superman's origin. Inside of lid features the art from the cover of Superman #300 by Bob Oksner and Curt Swan. Player is in VF+ condition. A very hard to find item with the scarce box. Beautiful graphics make this a must have item for the Superman fan.
