22.5x34.25" copyright 1885 published by Root & Tinker Tribune Building New York. Horses include Bourke Cockran jumping over hedge in center, Himalaya, Miss Woodford, General Munro and Mikado. Thirteen horses are shown in total. 12 jockeys are shown including black jockeys Issac Murphy and Issac Louis. Others include Haywood, Feakes, Fitzpatrick, Olney. Jockeys were among the first black professional athletes. Poster has some lt. creasing with a few hairline color rubs along sides. VF as linen mounted. Beautiful poster.
