Item Description
9" long by 8" tall tin litho with detachable black cloth roof. Seats are made of plastic and Mr. Magoo's head is vinyl. Made in Japan, distributed by Hubley of Lancaster, Pa ©1961 UPA Pictures Inc. Box has colorful illustrations on lid. Side panels show 3 illustrations of Magoo in car with text above each reading "Steers/Rocks, Rattles, Rolls/Removable Top." Box lid has lt. creases to top, top and two sides also show areas of lt. water staining, some color rubs to two corners, still tight. Plain bottom has moderate creasing. Overall Fine. Toy itself works well with all the aforementioned actions. Very little wear. Just a few barely noticeable lt. scratches. Toy seldom found this nice and with super-clean battery box. Exc. A classic battery toy as well as an interesting character toy.
