c. 1930s-1940s. Sizes range from 3x4" to 3x4.25". Comic strip characters include Dick Tracy, Jiggs, Barney Google, Wimpy, Blondie, the Katzenjammers, Uncle Phil, Tillie the Toiler, Wash Tubbs and Easy, Dixie Dugan, Ella Cinders, Jungle Jim, Bunky, and Winnie Winkle. Also includes well-drawn titles: "Connie" (two different), "Wally And The King, Stella Clinker, Judge Puffle", and the "Frigidaire Salesman". Remaining nine titles all well drawn by Wesley Morse and include 2 color cover versions of "Professor Makes Jane An Honor Student, Molly HasA Picnic At A Nudist Camp, Marie The French Maid, Millie Zonga The Fan Dancer, Oh Doctor, She Asked For A Small Piece-But, There's Always Room For A Man" and Today I Am A Man". Scattered general wear and some aging. Overall group is VG/Fine. A great variety for a starter collection or to fill in gaps. Includes some scarce titles. All titles are different from following lot.
