Sizes range from 2-7/8x3.5" to 2-7/8x4.25". Among the earliest and scarcest 8-pagers with text covers c. 1930-1935. First Andy Gump title is "Andy Gump No. 304 Price, One Dollar" published by Madrid Publishing Co. Madrid, Spain. 16 pages with art printed one sided to the page on orange paper in green ink alternating between front and back of each page. Storyline has Andy dreaming about men being involved with strange men as he watches. Second title is "His Hour Of Rest" published by Tabasco Pub. Co. Havana, Cuba. Has 16 pages with art printed one side to the page in blue ink alternating between front and back of each page. First two pages feature Mutt sleeping with Jeff and dreaming about talking to pretty girl, rest of storyline has Andy Gump involved with wife Min. Third booklet has no cover title and has 24 pages printed one side to the page in green ink with art alternating between front and back of each page. Storyline has Barney Google catching Sparkplug involved with pretty girl. He sends Sparkplug and Jockey Sunshine away and gets involved with girl himself. Story ends with Sparkplug thinking about naked girl and coming back home and getting involved with girl. Covers have some dust soil and lt. wear with bit of lt. oxidation at single staples. Overall covers VG/Fine, insides VF. Historic.
