Item Description
c. 1930s, Made by T. Cohn Inc. USA. 5.25" tall pail has wonderful wraparound art of owl and pussycat in rowboat carrying honey and bags of money towards shoreline which has dancing pig with moon shining on water in bkg. Bottom of pail has portion of 1871 poem written by Edward Lear "The Owl And The Pussycat Went To Sea In A Beautiful Pea Green Boat". Wonderful graphics on pail are based on this nonsensical poem. A couple of tiny oxidation spots on top rim edge and some pinpoint paint nicks but pail remains unused, glossy and Exc./NM. Complete with generic but original shovel. A wonderful pail.
