c. 1950s made by Porter Chemical Company Hagerstown, MD, one of three different sets produced. 12.75" wide hinged box has nice graphics of Tracy looking at "Crime Stoppers Textbook" charts. Lid has a few lt. scuffs with some wear around edges. Top lid lower right corner seam has split, lid corner seams are reinforced with clear tape. Box still bright and Fine. Extensive kit contains textbook, microscope, fingerprint dusting kit, fingerprint pad, glass slide, and magnifying glass in illustrated insert. Inside textbook has a few lt. color rubs, o/w contents are VF/Exc. and show little use. Nice graphics throughout. This company also made the 1930s Buck Rogers chemistry sets.
