Text above the eagle reads “The Honest Statesman, His Countries’ Steadfast friend-/Harry Of The West.” Text below portrait and flag reads “Young Men’s Whig National/Convention Held In Baltimore./May 2d 1844.” while below this is “The Farmer Of Ashland./Honor To Whom Honor Is Due.” Below oval wreath at bottom is name “Bannerman Sc.” Superb NM condition.
