Item Description
7.75x8.5" thin stiff cardboard with applied paper sheet showing McKinley dollar bill based on “Gold Standard” with slogan “Worth 100 Cents Or One Dollar In Gold” vs Bryan’s dollar bill based on “Free Silver” and therefore “Worth 53 Cents Only.” The piece was once framed and has a little surface paper residue on the blank area between each image. Reverse has pencil notation reading “Sample #11.” Outer edge of piece has margins trimmed just slightly less than perfectly straight. Striking graphics. Rare and VF.
