Auction #203 - Part II
Item numbers 1429 through 3205 in auction 203
Item Description
7.5x13-3/8x.75" deep box copyright Milton Bradley #4521 c. early 1930s. Lid and inside playing surface are applied paper labels. Lid top has wonderful graphics by creator Carl Ed showing Harold dreaming about Lillums as Pop Jenks says "Phooey!" as he hands soda bill to Harold. Playing surface has unusual and somewhat menacing fire scene with woman trapped at upper window with Harold looking up from bottom window. Game includes spinner and four wooden playing pieces although one should be yellow as stated in instructions and is not here. Lid top has vertical split on bottom side edge at center and is faded but fading doesn't extend to lid top image. Spinner has some wear. VG. Game board is bright and VF. Scarce. Nice graphics.
