Item Description
9.5x19-1/8x1-5/8" deep Milton Bradley box #4829 copyright 1949. Lid top has nice graphics of Wiggily carrying carrot heading for Dr. Possum's house. Game is designed by Harold R. Garis "Author Of The Uncle Wiggily Bedtime Stories" and includes characters "The Bad Pipsisewah, Skeeziks, and Skillery Skallery Alligator". Lid has color rubs around edges with bit of wear at corner tips. Fine. Game board is 18.5x18.5" with elaborate design of community going from Uncle Wiggily's bungalow and ending at Dr. Possum's house. Die-cut insert holds complete set of four three dimensional painted cast metal Wiggily playing pieces, and proper number of cards including 30 red and over 100 white along with promo folder for other Milton Bradley games. Figural playing pieces have a few dots of missing color here and there. Fine. Board and other contents are Exc. Wonderfully designed game.
