©MCG. March 1963 issue has classic Steve Ditko cover art of Spider-Man in action with the Fantastic Four. Contains full length Stan Lee story w/great interior art by Ditko. Retells the origin. First Fantastic Four cross-over (ties in with FF #12 as first Marvel cross-over), introduction John Jameson and The Chameleon; Spider-Man's second appearance. Overall soiling on front and back covers. Moisture staining at top left cover and matching on reverse. Top staple still holding at cover. Lt. creasing/handling wear. Pages are lt. tan and supple. The spine is split 1.5" from top and 4" from bottom. Good. It is tough to find Marvel comics of this vintage without cover chips. This key issue has none.
