Item Description
3x5' with tag of maker “Reliance” and pair of metal grommets on left edge. Also reads “We Do Our Part.” Small amount of damage includes 1x1" right angle tear below eagle’s third feather at left and .25" tiny tear at far left. Fabric is lightly tanned, but colors are not faded. Bottom right has 3x5" darker stain mark and upper right has much smaller 1.5" dark mark plus a few much smaller and lighter. There is a very lt. 5" diameter mark around the lightning bolts. Overall, a fine example of the iconic blue eagle symbol of the 1933-1935 National Recovery Administration intended to promote economic recovery from the great depression. Flags are quite scarce.
