Item Description
This unusual creation is 11" in dia. and 15" tall including the wood dowel wrapped in crepe paper that serves as the handle. The fan consists of three layers. First is a cutout paper photo of Landon. This is glued to a sheer tan fabric with a thin layer of interior filler to give it some depth. This in turn is surrounded by many large yellow crepe cutouts to represent the flower petals. The reverse center area is covered in green crepe matching the stem/handle. Only example we’ve seen and NM. See early “Stand Up For Kansas” brass sunflower pin in geographic button section. See 1936 sample voting machine #65.
