Item Description
7.5" tall with patent date of May 12, 1903. Metal body with cloth great coat and pants. Toy depicts the true story of an infamous cobbler who stole the town of Kopenick, Germany's money while dressed as an army officer. Lehmann markings on soles of tin litho shoes. Coat shows moderate wear. Missing three tiny brass buttons on front and five on back. Collar and shoulder area are a bit frayed. VG. Cloth pants are VF. Light wear to tin litho hands and feet. Fine. Face and hat brim have trace of lt. wear. VF. A scarcer Lehmann. Works well and rocks back and forth. Interesting.
