Item Description
5.5x10x7" tall painted and glazed ceramic. Lyon Company 1996. Lyon was one of the first manufacturers of "I Love Lucy" giftware in the early 1990s. During the development process the color of the television set was changed to pink instead of beige. Only three beige prototypes are believed to exist including the one offered here. Also included is the original Lyon catalog sheet showing the teapot in it's final pink coloring. NM. A very rare variation for the Lucille Ball completist. From the collection of Ric B. Wyman, author of "For The Love Of Lucy The Complete Guide For Collectors And Fans." Comes with signed COA.
