Item Description
Important: Do not bid on this item without first reading the background and condition information that leads off the description of item #96. The covers of this album reads: “1996 Inaugural Nixonia.” The album has split spine edges but covers are still attached. Interior items are Exc. There are 17 pages of photos and 12 pages of miscellaneous items and clippings. There are a total of 80 photos, mostly 3.25x4.5". Photos include: Pat Nixon in receiving line (three but one badly creased), Mamie Eisenhower, Mrs. Agnew, Nancy Reagan, Dinah Shore, Agnew, David and Julie Eisenhower, Peter Duchin at piano and protestor who got in and took mike from him to announce Sunday protest counter march, Rocky (two), various governors/senators, Gerald Ford and wife (three), Yippie and S. D. S. Protest photos (14) possibly including Mark Rudd of Columbia University protests and protestor with “Nixon Eats Grapes” sign. Inaugural parade and police photos include Nixon’s limo (16). Additional items (glued to pgs.) include: Inaugural invitations (8.5x11"), senate memo pg. to press photographers, Inaugural event list January 18-Jan. 20, 1969, Inaugural concert ticket, Agnew reception program (two different), ceremonies ticket stubs (two), Inaugural program and two ticket stubs. 80 photos in all.
