1950s. Plain generic cardboard slipcase has some dust soil and lt. wear with a few seam splits. VG. Contains 6.25x14.5x2" deep beautiful presentation box with flocked cardboard insert and gold embossed thin plastic cover. Hubley #281 with end panel text "Repeating Cap Pistol With Metal Cartridges". Front and back panels also marked "Copyright 1958 By Colt Patent Firearm Mfg. Co." Illustrated instructions are on underside of box. Plastic cover has yellowed with age around sides and has corner splits with a few small missing corner pieces. Box itself is clean, tight and Exc. 13" long die cast cap pistol with gold finish cylinder and ivory plastic grips. Complete with six bullets which fit in cylinder. Gun cylinder doesn't revolve every time when trigger is pulled o/w gun and bullets are in NM unused condition. Wonderful set for display. One of the nicest die-cast guns made.
