Item Description
c. 1950s. 4.5" long with nice design of covered wagon sitting on grassy knoll. Unlike the more common bronze plated examples, this one is painted over the bronze plating and has bank name plate on front which reads "The Bank Of Commerce Chanute, Kansas Member Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation". Made by Banthrico Inc. Chicago. Possibly unique to this bank as a premium. Wagon top has scattered paint wear and sides are a bit worn. Overall Fine. Nice detail. Complete with locking trap but no key is present.
