Made in U.S. Zone Germany with interior music box made in Switzerland by Thorens. 2-7/8x6.5x2.5" deep box has nice lid graphics of kids dancing outside convertible car with Dad playing radio with musical notes flowing into air. Slipcase box has lt. wear around edges with some lt. dust soil and 1" ink scribble on blank end. Fine. Contains 6" long painted tin car with tin litho dashboard which shows radio. Music box winds on underside of car with switch on dashboard plays well. Wind-up motor is on side and comes with "Schuco" key. Car runs but on/off switch for motor no longer works in off position. Car has moderate scuffing on undercarriage but car still displays VF. Plated parts include bumper and grill, vinyl antenna which moves up and down has bend to knob at top. Has manually operated front wheels. Includes original folded instruction sheet with text in German. Great concept and wonderful design.
