c. 1930s. Allied Manufacturing Co. First is 8.5x11" "Dick Tracy's Casting News." Four pages. Front cover has tabloid-style headline with accompanying articles explaining features/benefits of the casting set. One inside page pictures two boxed Dick Tracy sets. Third page shows extra molds that could be ordered. Extra character sets offered include: The Lone Ranger, Gumps, Orphan Annie, Harold Teen, Smitty, Gasoline Alley, along with generic sets. Overall surface dust and handling wear. VG. A great reference and first we've seen. Lot also includes 3.5x5" #58 Lone Ranger two-piece mold with handle, electric stove unit and set of 3 figures. Lone Ranger, Cowboy, Indian. These 2" tall figures are Exc. Rest shows wear from use. Fine. Only Lone Ranger set/molds we've seen.
