Three items. 1945. 6 1/8x9.25" manila envelope has return address at upper left of “Ralston Straight Shooters” and has typewritten address of recipient. Envelope has some lt. handling creases. Fine. Manual is 6x9" soft cover with 24 bw pages with red accent color “TM” brand design on front cover which has wraparound art of wagon rolling into western desert. First inside page includes title “Official Tom Mix Straight Shooters Album” with unused space for recipients name and address. Contents include Life of Tom Mix, large picture of Tom, blurbs and pictures of Tom Mix radio show stars, mystery story to be resolved by recipient, secret signals, “Straight Shooter Pledge Of Allegiance” and theme song music. Manual has lt. rippling otherwise Exc. Lot also includes offer sheet that was mailed w/this manual for one act play titled “The Straight Shooters Secret”, only the second we've seen. Sheet is Exc.
