Item Description
Made by New Haven. 2.5x4.75x1-1/8" deep cardboard box includes text on inside lid "Dick Tracy Wristwatch For The Junior A Guaranteed American Watch". Lid top has text "Dick Tracy Wristwatch". A rather plain box but very rare and the only such box we have offered in our 45 years. Box has hinge wear but is still attached and complete with insert. Tight and Fine. 1.5" tall chrome cased watch has nice specialty art on dial by Chester Gould showing Tracy with left hand in pocket and right hand holding gun. Leather bands are a bit worn. Stitching is a bit weak but original. Case has bright luster. Crystal has yellowed. Dial is clean. Working. Still VF/Exc. overall. Complete with both original warranty papers. Wonderful design.
