Item Description
1959 made by Gong Bell. 24.5" long all wood construction with applied paper graphics. Images include three good fairies Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather; various forest animals playing and resting and young Sleeping Beauty on the back of headboard being given acorn by squirrel and flower by rabbit as little birds fly above. Surface has scattered aging on top bed area with a few moisture marks on inside side rails. Trace of lt. dust soil here and there with a few lt. edge scratches. Overall bright and Fine/VF. Great for display and first we've seen in our 45 years. From the Tomart Archives and comes COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
