3.5” tall beautiful figurine by the famous German company c. 1932. This is #652 in the series with incised number under base along with “Rosenthal” company mark. Great pose of Mickey with crossed legs and one hand raised to his head. All Rosenthal figurines are rare, particularly in the US as they were never distributed here. Rosenthals are considered to be the finest Mickey figurines ever produced. Side edge of his left ear has a minute paint flake, outside edge of his raised right arm has a few tiny paint flakes. None of this is visible when viewed straight on. Pair of tiny flakes on right shoulder noticeable when viewed closely. Appearance remains totally bright and glossy. Still displays as Exc.
