1" with metal back which includes pair prongs to grasp a pencil. Back includes W&H mark along with 1908 patent date. We believe the earliest pencil clip we've seen and superbly designed with picture of young boy in hat and jacket standing amidst falling white snowflakes. Exc. and displays Mint. Rare.
