Auction #203 - Part II
Item numbers 1429 through 3205 in auction 203
Item Description
Pair of items which work perfectly together but are actually by two different companies. First is the painted jigsawed wood holder which is 3x6x6" tall. Has recessed area on base designed to hold a silver cup. This piece is made by the International Silver Co. from 1934 and is shown on page 86 of Disneyana by Munsey. Small scattered trace of aging, some hairline craze lines in the painted Mickey figure. Fine. The 2" tall silverplate cup is similar to those by International Silver Co. but is by Silvercraft of Calif. and from 1947. Each side features incised image of Mickey and Minnie. Small trace of aging but retains bright luster. VF. Display is Rare.
