Item Description
8x19x7.5" tall tin litho, fiberboard and wood w/rubber tires. 1950s by Gong Bell. This toy certainly qualifies as one of the largest pull toys ever made, although primarily designed as a riding toy. Box includes image of the toy on one side. Moisture staining and wear but scarce. VG. Toy does not have a pull string as shown on the box. All sides of bus feature great character images including Mickey as the driver, Minnie, Donald, Daisy & their nephews, Goofy, Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Pluto, Fifer Pig, Joe Carioca, Jaq. Mouse Club logo on one side. A 5.75" tall figural wood attachment for the roof depicts Mickey operating a "TV" camera and this piece has handles for when using as a riding toy. Scattered small traces of wear/aging but all remains bright and clean. VF. Great design. From the Michael J. Stern Collection.
